BEAUTIFUL 1 / on a scale roundabout dog to z4

IN VIX HERE ARE SEVERAL BEAUTIFUL ITEMS tor rest the eyes on, and I not only thinking about all young females frequenting exiting entertainment palaces and facilities like Filmstaden, Vallingehus, Ahléns etc. My intention is to start a new series in the blog on unexpected esthetical aspects in my own NewTown.

In the Vallingby roundabout (I call it Southern Star) i aimed a pair of funny small roundabout dogs (sv. Rondellhundar ) of an unclear race, maybe some kind of Street Crossing =D

At Vix Automobile Zone, the blocks placed in a row after Jamtlandsgatan (aka Street Meet Street) where several high status car dealers like Citröen and BMW have their operations, I spotted several nice BMW Z4 sportscars and the luxury high end € 50.000 car Citröen C6. Something to watch and dream about dark days in December. (click the image above)

Conclussion Is the free everyday street art or the expensive product the winner? I think all is the winner because the objects or artefacts are results of individuals design ambitions and output from their creative thinking, concept planning and most of all – dreams.

DARIN VIX PERSONALITY / nr one

DARIN THE IDOL 2004 GRAND SLAM WINNER who released his third hit album Break the News last week lives in and very much enjoys his life in Vinsta-Vallingby Design City (aka Vixton or just Vix). Vix is great, he explains in an interview in a daily paper 1). In the trendy artsy fartsy magazine RedPages Sthlm (2) Darin explains that he moved from Viksjö to Vix two years ago and how he and his family allways have lived for and loved music.

Now and hereby he is by me, the editor TomSmok€ acting as autocratic sole judge, the first person awarded, and as this claiming the number One (01/50) first out of celebreties in a wholistic row in the new right now declared and established Vix hall of fame called Vixton Personalities (VIP), a small exclusive (1‰-group out of the 50k population). This group will consist of honorable rewarded famous individuals living in Vixi, persons acting as good examples for young people and as such acts as ambassadors promoting Vixi.

International culture and entertainment centers like Billyburg (brooklyn/nyc/usa), X-berg (berlin/de), Nørrebro (cph/dk), Stureplan and Sofo (se) have clearly got a hungry underdog rising in the competition in Vix. The Desing City is clearly ungdergoing a strong eclecticaly rise with a superb blend of design, culture, technology, low and high, 1950-ies dreams of a equalistic social utopia, ultra futuristic genres side by side with vintage trash-chique elements.
