THE BRAND NEW SAFTEY PRICE was handed over by Birgitta Wahlman, the chairman (Mayor of Vällingby City) of the Hässelby-Vällingby local city council, to the group “Nattvandrarna” (the Nightwanderers) at the thuesday evening open conference. Price money SEK 9.000 (€ 900) for best operation promoting local safety. “Safety is one of the most important issues for this part of the city. TODAY friday 21 November in the afternoon in the falling dawn the 2008 christmas decorations, with thousands and thousands of diod lights, was turned on in Vällingby City aka Vixton.
Peter Siepen the famous TV personality and a DJ presented a spectacular show for kids and parents at the opening of the ice skateing court.

FREDRIK ELINDER 42 yerar old professor from Hässelby has conducted the Spartathlon a 245 km long running competition to Sparta, Greece. On sunday the annual 21:st Hässelbyloppet/Hässelbyrace will be at stake. It’s a record this year with 3.200 runners at the start. At 12.00 the race will start at a field by Hässelby IP and the goal is at Hässelby IP. Arranger is Hässelby SK.

FREDRIK ELINDER 42årig professor från Hässelby har sprungit Spartathlon, ett riktigt långlopp till Sparta i Grekland, 245 km på 33 timmar. På söndag är det det 21:a Hässelbyloppets 10 km som gäller. I år är det rekord många som vill delta. 3200 personer är anmälda att springa hittills. Kl. 12.00 på söndag går starten från ett gärde vid Hässelby IP och målgång sker på Hässelby IP.

NOW I HAVE visited the new Kistamässan, Swedens greatest fair halls, a new kind of multipurpose center aimed for expos, conventions, trade fairs, concerts, conferences, corporations events, what ever event with a massive visitor density, comming from all around Sweden and abroad. I attended Multicore days, the fourth event at the new opened facility. The Kistamässan is not completed yet. In spring 2009 a new entrance, halls and infrastructure will be ready. And a hotel skyskraper 40 stores high is taking of to be raised up from righ now and will be completed in two years. I guess that some musical acts will perform here in the future. The neon sign over the entrance has got a revard for it’s design.

Even with a decline and recession of the ecconomy the shopping will not be much affected as housing for example. The shopping in SEK will be doubled as the new centrum will be visited by shoppers from all over west Stockholm.

CAR DRIVER / trying to kill police man

A DRIVER OF A MERCEDES car was stoped for a control by police, then the driver tried to escape in high speed and in this aimed to hit the police man with the car. The police opened fire at the driver. The Mercedes car drived away and hitted several other cars hard in a nearby crossing. Four persons was injured, one severe , and bringed to hospital for examination and care.
